Craft stitches

Different stitch types suit different styles of embroidery. When you digitize an object, it uses the current stitch type for the selected digitizing method. Of course you can change stitch types at any time.

BERNINA V9 provides a range of stitches for more decorative outlines and fills. These include such stitches as blackwork, backstitch, stemstitch, and candlewicking. Outlines and fills are generated with default stitch settings. These can be adjusted before or after digitizing via Object Properties. See also Digitizing Methods.

Techniques for adjusting layouts are the same as for pattern fills. Stitch angles have no effect on pattern layouts. See Creating pattern fills for details.

Tip  Wave Fill lets you contour fill stitches along a digitized guideline. Wave Fill can be applied to all pattern fills. See also Wave effects.
