The BERNINA ‘needle-punch’ tool is a cluster of 3 or 5 needles that are used to punch fibers through fabric. This process is normally performed as free motion sewing but can also be done in the embroidery hoop. In BERNINA Embroidery Software, a dedicated PunchWork tool allows you to create felting objects and designs for use with the BERNINA Rotary Hook Punch.
The Options dialog allows you to preset tool behaviors for Appliqué and PunchWork. Choose whether to digitize objects with single or multiple boundaries. Choose whether to determine frame-out position automatically or explicitly.
