Reshaping & Editing Objects

Reshape1.pngBERNINA Embroidery Software lets you modify object shapes, stitch angles and entry and exit points by means of reshape nodes. The Reshape Object tool is one of the most frequently used.

BERNINA V9 also allows you to cut filled objects into smaller fragments. This is important where changes in stitch direction are necessary.

Sometimes, you may need to remove underlying layers of stitching. This helps to reduce the stitch count and prevent a build-up of stitches where they are not needed.

BERNINA V9 also provides special tools for cutting holes in objects as well as filling holes in objects. You can also easily generate new outlines and offset objects based on existing objects.

This section describes how to reshape objects with reshape nodes. It also covers adjusting stitch angles – including multiple stitch angles – as well as changing entry and exit points. It also discusses cutting objects and removing underlying stitching, as well as adding holes to existing objects, filling holes, and generating outlines.
