Add flair script lettering

Right-click Lettering / Monogramming > Lettering to add flair script lettering via the dialog.

Flair script is a special font which allows you to add decorative flairs to the end of text objects, mimicking flamboyant handwriting flourishes.

To add flair script lettering...

1Right-click the Lettering icon. The Object Details > Lettering dialog opens.

2Select Flair Script from the Font list.

3Enter the text you want to embroider in the text entry panel.

4Click Select Character. The Select Character dialog opens.

5Select the flare character(s) you want to use. Scroll down for more options.

6Click OK to close the dialog. The selected characters are displayed in the text entry panel.

7Adjust lettering as required.

8Click OK.

9Click where you want to place the lettering, or mark reference points for the selected baseline.

10Press Enter.

Experiment with different flare characters to obtain the look you want.
