Lacework stitch consists of an open square trellis-like pattern which gives objects a lacey look. With Lacework fills you can adjust the layout of the preset patterns.
Lacework settings can be adjusted in the usual way via Object Properties. Like blackwork, blackwork and candlewicking, lacework is a type of embroidery pattern and has the same properties.
