Objects can be duplicated rather than copied. There are three existing techniques available for this – the Quick Clone feature, the Duplicate option, and the Duplicate with Offset option. The methods remain but the behaviors have changed a little as follows...
To ‘quick clone’, hold down the right mouse button and drag to a new position, as before.
To repeat the operation, you now use Edit > Duplicate or press Ctrl+D to create a duplicate at the same offset as the clone.
The Duplicate with Offset option offsets the duplicate from the original by a fixed amount.
