Typically you will want to assign actual thread colors to the Color Palette in these instances...
When you convert vector graphics in Graphics mode, colors are appended to the color palette as RGB values which can be matched to actual threads.
When you auto-digitize a bitmap and want to match RGB values to actual threads.
If you read a machine file, color information will be appended to the Color Palette. Again, you can match these colors to actual threads.
If you receive a design which uses colors from a thread chart you don’t have, you can match them to a preferred thread chart.
In BERNINA V9 you can search for particular threads manually by various criteria and assign them. Thread color matching lets you find and change thread colors in one or several charts, based on closest match.
Tip: The Thread Colors > Print option allows you to print the thread list in the current thread chart as a shopping reference when purchasing threads. See Printing thread charts for details.
