Crop artwork for digitizing

	Use Canvas > Artwork Canvas to import, edit or create vector artwork as a backdrop for embroidery digitizing, manual or automatic.
	Use Artwork Canvas > Crop Tools > Crop Bitmap Artwork to remove bitmap artwork areas outside a selection.
	Use Auto-Digitize > Crop Background to for easy removal of selected bitmap artwork backgrounds.

BERNINA V9 allows you to crop images prior to use. Before using bitmap images for design purposes, crop them to remove unnecessary detail and save processing time.

To crop artwork for digitizing...

Scan or load the image you want to use.
Select the bitmap and click Crop Background. The Crop toolbar opens. Alternatively, use the Crop Bitmap Artwork tool on the Artwork Canvas.

Digitize points to create a cropping shape around the part of the image you require and press Enter.
